We had such a great time — we’ll definitely be inviting her back for an encore!” - From Muskan Gupta, Lifestyle & Program Manager at Chartwell Stillwater Creek Residence, Ottawa, Canada. “Imagine this: a room filled with smiles, laughter, and music that touches the heart. That’s exactly what Barbara Lewis brought to Chartwell Stillwater Creek with her recent performance. Barbara has a truly beautiful voice and an incredible selection of songs that resonated with all of our residents. Beyond the music, she’s a wonderful storyteller who draws everyone in, making the performance feel personal and engaging. What stood out most was how she kept our residents completely captivated—not just with her singing, but with the interactive moments that made everyone feel part of the show. Afterward, I had residents coming up to me repeatedly saying, ‘You have to bring her back!’ They absolutely loved both the music and the lively interaction. Barbara’s performance was more than entertainment—it was a memorable experience for everyone in the room.”
- From Riana Levy – Vista Residence, Montreal
“I thoroughly enjoyed your show yesterday at Vista residence. You are a pleasure to work with. You communicated with me beforehand to ensure that you could see the performance space. You are very professional and organized. The event was more than just having a talented singer and more of a wonderful show! You had beautiful handouts and song sheets for sing along portion of the hour. Barbara, you wear your heart on your sleeve, and I can tell that you work very hard to bring some sunshine into the lives of seniors. My favorite aspect of your show is your level of confidence when speaking to a crowd.”
Why this show? “IMAGINE THIS!”
“About a year ago, upon reaching an important milestone in my life, I contemplated what I still had to offer the world. The creative spirit is strong in me and I believe we can live fully no matter our age. “Imagine This” is a collection of English and French songs strung together with anecdotes and interesting information about creativity and ageing. It is a joy to perform and I would love for you to spend an hour with me laughing, singing and remembering your own creative gifts.“
