A blend of songs, stories, poetry, seasoned with a touch of science, this concert-talk celebrates and encourages anew the remarkable creative abilities that stay with us throughout our lives.

Created and performed by Barbara for audiences of 55+, this is an unparalleled, upbeat show that will have your people laughing, singing and sharing deep emotions.

The latest performance of “Imagine This” was for the TeaPot 55+ organization in Montreal, Quebec. The event was organized by Michelle Welsford. After the concert, Ms. Welford offered these words:

“Barbara’s performance was nothing short of amazing! She was incredibly entertaining and engaging, making it easy for everyone to connect with the songs, many of which brought back cherished memories.
Some of our members even sang those songs to their children, adding a heartfelt touch to the experience. Barbara’s ability to modernize familiar tunes made them fun and exciting, while her vibrant personality and creativity inspired everyone. Many members shared how they were motivated by her performance, with one individual even wanting to reflect and indulge in artistic endeavors.
Several others felt inspired to start a choir at our organization as they realized the special connection that singing with others creates. The sing-along element was a huge hit, and members are already planning to attend Barbara’s next show, some bringing friends along. Some even shared that they’d see the same show again tomorrow! Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience that touched everyone, and we can’t thank Barbara enough for the unforgettable show. You’re excellent, Barbara—thank you a million times!”

WHY IMAGINE THIS?

About a year ago, upon reaching an important milestone in my life, I contemplated what I still had to offer the world. The creative spirit is strong in me and I believe we can live fully no matter our age. “Imagine This” is a collection of English and French songs strung together with anecdotes and interesting information about creativity and ageing. It is a joy to perform and I would love for you to spend an hour with me laughing, singing and remembering your own creative gifts.
