BEVERLEY MCGUIRE sings in the pop, cabaret, folk, music theatre and classical styles. She teaches singing at Concordia University in Montreal, and is a well-known Canadian singer of celtic music. HELENE MONTPETIT has been a singer, songwriter, musician and composer for over twenty years. Her experience ranges from singing in nightclubs to composing and producing for staged concerts. She currently fronts the band, "Little Mountain." SHEILA
SMITH has been singing and performing in jazz groups for many years.
She works regularly in a duo with jazz guitarist, Freddy Penserini.
HOLLY ARSENAULT, keyboard player, is a native of Nova Scotia, Canada, is an active member of Montreal's jazz community. She has also toured North America and Europe, playing keyboard for several theatrical productions. PAUL
MILLETTE is an innovative jazz guitarist who has played in rock, latin,
jazz and West African musical groups. He is presently active in a violin/guitar
duo and in a rock/fusion band.
TONY SPINA has played percussion for jazz, rock, folk, fusion and Latin bands. In 1995 he was given an honorary award for his playing at the National Music Fest in Toronto. BORIS KHODORKOVSKY plays flute, saxophone and clarinet in both the jazz and classical styles. He is also a singer, arranger and composer. NANCY CORWIN has played viola in several orchestras. She now lives in Montreal where she teaches viola and violin privately. Corwin is also the choir director at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church. CHESTER
DOXAS - At sixteen years of age during this project, is a great talent
on the saxophone. He performs regularly with several jazz bands in Montreal,
and he recently played with a trio of young composers in a concert at
Carnegie Hall, New York City.
MARK CORWIN (Producer), has produced and/or engineered a wide variety of music projects, from rock to classical ensembles and spoken word. He teaches electroacoustic and recording arts at Concordia University in Montreal where he is the Co-Director of the school's 4 electroacoustic studios including the digital editing and mastering facility (514-694-7369) GEORGE DOXAS (Engineer), owns and runs the engineering studio, Boutique de Son. He has recorded everything from children's songs to big band. He plays guitar and bass, and teaches music at Lindsay Place High School, Montreal. (514-695-3490) NICHOLAS
REGUSH (Creative Consultant),
is a writer, director, and a television producer for ABC TV, in New York.
He has also served as creative consultant for numerous projects involving
the arts. NADINE MCLAUGHLIN has been a graphics designer for over thirty years. For the "Hara's Quest" project, her illustrations convey the dream-like, mystical, and futuristic nature of the music. Several of these illustrations are now in poster form.
